A new day brings cleansed energy. Pure and bright.
The past exists in fragments, remnants of energy
Stored in the body and the mind
Waiting to be released so once can truly, fully, deepen in the now.
Patterns manifest as patterns, where history does not repeat but rhymes.
The charged lust, the anticipated kiss, the hollow stomach, the ache.
The avoidance, delusions, projections, reactions... arising before awareness.
These are all but connected to the roots planted years before, before you, before your parents...
this is why it is called the family tree.
Like a tree, we don't disconnect from our origin, we embrace it. Supported by our roots, deep, strong, and hard to break.
But like a tree, we may grow beyond the roots.
Our days form the branches, some sturdy, some green, some flowering, some breaking until we grow another branch and another.
Like the trunk, slow change finds us growing taller in stature year by year so that we may become and embody the incredible strength and wisdom that is our birthright.
